WOODEN FRAMES
We make a wide range of Yurts; from 20ft to 40ft diameter with self supporting roofs,
designed and made to your requirements.
Our yurts are made from choice British soft woods and hard woods depending on the task we’re asking from the timber.
Our timber is sourced locally and sustainably ready for us to put on our mill
WALL TRELLIS
Set at a height of 6' 5" giving maximum headroom though-out the yurt
ROOF POLES
Our roof poles are hand crafted for structural stability and elegance
HOOPS AND DOMES
Our hoops are made from steam-bent Ash boards, laminated together with marine grade epoxy resin
5ft diameter double-glazed polycarbonate roof dome mounted on 36mm laminated plyboard, creating a sturdy lightweight dome that can be easily opened allowing great ventilation on a hot day.

DOORS AND WINDOWS
We use locally sourced Sweet chestnut for our doors and windows.
Traditionally jointed with mortise and tenons and glued with
West Systems epoxy resin resulting in solid weather-tight joinery
We use double-glazed units for all our doors and windows which are made to order.
Using 4mm toughened glass both inside and out with a 10mm Argon filled space
DOOR FRAMES
Door frames are structurally integral, along with an 8mm steel cable tension band which runs around the top of the wall trellis.
The more wind load applied to the top of the yurt the more tension is put on the tension band.
Acclaimed by Architectural Digest as an “architectural wonder,” yurts are among the strongest and most efficient structures ever created because of this clever building technique
BASES
Our bases are constructed out of C24 treated sawn timber and covered with 18mm P5 Moisture Resistant T & G Chipboard Flooring
